The MikroTik netPower 16P is a compact outdoor dual-boot PoE switch — 16× GbE 802.3af/at PoE-out and 2× SFP+ 10G in an IP54 enclosure deployable on towers, masts, poles, attics, and shafts, running RouterOS v7 License 5 or SwitchOS.
**16× GbE 802.3af/at PoE-out — power APs and cameras at the mast**
All 16 GbE ports deliver 802.3af/at PoE-out — power access points, IP cameras, and IP phones directly at the tower or pole without running separate power cables to each device. No onboard voltage converter — the output voltage equals the input voltage. Connect a 24V PSU for 24V passive PoE-out; connect a 48V PSU for 802.3af/at 48V PoE-out. Max total output: 2.8A per input at 18–30V and 1.4A per input at 48–57V across 2 DC jack inputs. Compatible MikroTik PSUs: 24HPOW, MTP250-53V47-OD, MTP250-26V94-OD, 48POW, 48V2A96W. Power supply NOT included.
**36 Gbps non-blocking throughput — 72 Gbps switching capacity**
98DX226S dual-core ARM 32-bit at 800 MHz — 36 Gbps non-blocking throughput, 72 Gbps switching capacity, 53.6 Mpps forwarding rate. Sufficient for simultaneous full-rate GbE and 10G SFP+ traffic without oversubscription.
**Dual boot — RouterOS L5 or SwitchOS**
Boot into SwitchOS for lightweight web-managed Layer 2 switching, or RouterOS v7 License 5 for full Layer 3 routing, firewall, NAT, and scripting. Both OSes preinstalled and licensed. Free software updates for the life of the product or minimum 5 years from purchase.
**IP54 outdoor enclosure — tower, mast, pole, attic, shaft**
IP54 rated. K-66 fastening set and 2× hose clamps included for pole and mast mounting. 2× DC to terminal block adapters included.
