The SYNOXX EB3512-3D/EB5312-3D is a matched pair of 1.25G SFP BiDi transceivers
that delivers Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel connectivity over a single strand
of OS2 single-mode fiber up to 3km — halving fiber count compared to duplex SFP
modules by using wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) with a TX1310nm/RX1550nm
transmit-receive wavelength pair on each fiber strand. Compliant with SFP MSA and
SFF-8472 standards, featuring LC simplex connectors, Digital Diagnostic Monitoring
(DDM) for real-time temperature, voltage, and optical power monitoring, and a 3.3V
operating supply. Hot-pluggable, RoHS compliant, and IC Certified.

The SYNOXX EB3512-3D/EB5312-3D is a matched pair of 1.25G SFP BiDi (bidirectional) transceivers engineered for Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel connectivity over a single strand of OS2 single-mode fiber up to 3km. Using wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM), each transceiver simultaneously transmits and receives on separate wavelengths — EB3512-3D at TX1310nm/RX1550nm and EB5312-3D at TX1550nm/RX1310nm — enabling a full-duplex 1.25Gbps link over one fiber strand instead of two. This halves the fiber count for every link, making the EB3512-3D/EB5312-3D pair the standard solution for environments where fiber capacity is constrained or fiber installation costs must be reduced.
Compliant with SFP MSA and SFF-8472 standards, both transceivers support full Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time visibility into temperature, voltage, TX/RX optical power, and bias current. LC simplex connectors, 3.3V operation, and hot-pluggable SFP form factor ensure compatibility across all SFP-equipped enterprise switches, routers, and Fiber Channel HBAs. Always install the pair together: EB3512-3D at one end and EB5312-3D at the opposite end of the same fiber strand — mixing wavelength-mismatched transceivers will prevent the link from establishing.
