The SYNOXX ESP8512-055D is a 1.25G SFP SX optical transceiver delivering Gigabit
Ethernet and Fibre Channel connectivity over multimode fiber (MMF) up to 550 metres
using an 850nm VCSEL transmitter — the standard choice for access-layer 1G fiber
links and 1G Fibre Channel connections over OM2, OM3, or OM4 multimode infrastructure.
Supports data rates up to 1.25Gbps with Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), PIN
photodetector receiver, and compliance with SFP MSA and SFF-8472 standards, with low
power consumption and a standard LC duplex connector. Hot-pluggable, RoHS compliant,
and IC Certified.
