The SYNOXX EDQD400-3-PAM4 is a 400G QSFP-DD to QSFP-DD passive direct attach
copper (DAC) cable delivering 400Gbps via 8×50G PAM4 lanes over a 3-metre passive
twinax connection — purpose-built for adjacent-rack 400G deployments where 1-metre
cables cannot bridge the distance, including cross-rack spine-to-leaf 400G links,
InfiniBand HDR GPU cluster connections spanning neighbouring racks, and 400G
AI/ML fabric interconnects requiring passive copper economics beyond the same-rack
reach class. Compliant with IEEE 802.3cd and InfiniBand HDR standards, featuring
a QSFP-DD interface, I2C management for cable identification, low insertion loss,
and low crosstalk across the full 3m run. Hot-pluggable, RoHS compliant, and
IC Certified.

The SYNOXX EDQD400-3-PAM4 is a 400G QSFP-DD to QSFP-DD passive direct attach copper (DAC) cable delivering 400Gbps over a 3-metre connection using 8×50G PAM4 (Pulse Amplitude Modulation 4-level) signaling — the adjacent-rack member of the EDQD400 PAM4 DAC series for 400G deployments where 1-metre cables fall short. At 3 meters, the EDQD400-3-PAM4 bridges QSFP-DD switch ports and connected devices across adjacent racks, accommodates overhead cable tray routing between rack bays, and provides the additional passive copper reach required for cross-rack 400G spine-to-leaf connections and InfiniBand HDR GPU cluster fabric spanning neighboring racks — without the cost, latency, or power draw of active optical 400G transceivers at this distance class.
Compliant with IEEE 802.3cd and InfiniBand HDR standards, the EDQD400-3-PAM4 features low insertion loss, low crosstalk, and optimized shielding for reliable 400G PAM4 signal integrity at 3 meters. Supporting I2C management for cable identification and operating from 0°C to 70°C, it is fully hot-pluggable in the QSFP-DD form factor with compatibility across all QSFP-DD-equipped 400G Ethernet switching platforms and InfiniBand HDR fabric equipment.
