The SYNOXX EDQPY-4SP3 is a 100G QSFP28 to 4×SFP28 passive direct attach copper (DAC) breakout cable that converts a single 100G QSFP28 switch port into four independent 25G SFP28 connections over 3 metres of twinax copper. It is the most direct and cost-efficient method for connecting four 25G-capable servers, storage arrays, or access switches to a single 100G spine or leaf port — eliminating the need for separate QSFP28 transceivers, SFP28 transceivers, or additional patch panels in high-density 25G/100G switching environments.

Each of the four 25G channels operates independently at 25Gbps, with EEPROM support for automatic device identification and host compatibility. Compliant with IEEE 802.3bj, SFF-8636, and SFF-8402 standards, the EDQPY-4SP3 features optimized cable geometry for low insertion loss and low crosstalk across all four channels simultaneously at the full 3-metre run. Available in 30AWG–26AWG configurations to balance flexibility and reach requirements, it operates on passive copper with no active components and minimal power draw.
