cable delivering 25.78Gbps over a 3-metre twinax connection — purpose-built for
adjacent-rack 25G connections where 1-metre cables fall short, including cross-rack
leaf-to-server links, flexible cable management through overhead trays and
under-floor pathways, and 100G breakout target deployments with extra slack.
Compliant with SFP28 MSA, SFF-8402, and IEEE 802.3by, featuring a hot-pluggable
SFP28 form factor, low power consumption, and a fully passive copper signal path
with no active components. Hot-pluggable, RoHS compliant, and IC Certified.

At 3 metres, the EDSP2X-3 bridges the gap between server racks and adjacent top-of-rack switches, accommodates overhead cable tray routing and under-floor pathway management, and provides the additional slack required for flexible 25G leaf-to-server connections across rack boundaries — without the cost, complexity, or power draw of active optical transceivers at this distance class.
Compliant with SFP28 MSA, SFF-8402, and IEEE 802.3by, the EDSP2X-3 operates as a fully passive cable with no active components — delivering inherently lower latency and higher reliability than active optic alternatives for inter-rack 25G connections up to 3 metres. Hot-pluggable in the standard SFP28 form factor, it maintains full compatibility across all SFP28-equipped 25G switches, servers, and storage platforms and operates across a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.
