stacking, and 100G breakout target deployments where short-reach passive copper
outperforms active optics on cost and power. Compliant with SFP28 MSA, SFF-8402,
and IEEE 802.3by, featuring a hot-pluggable SFP28 form factor, low power consumption,
and low-latency passive copper signal path with no active components required.

The SYNOXX EDSP2X-1 is a 25G SFP28 to SFP28 passive direct attach copper (DAC) cable delivering 25.78Gbps over a 1-metre twinax connection — the lowest-cost, lowest-latency option for same-rack 25G connections between SFP28-equipped leaf switches, servers, and storage arrays. At 1 metre, it is optimized for top-of-rack deployments where switch ports and server NIC uplinks are in the same rack, eliminating the cost and complexity of active optical transceivers in the tightest and most power-sensitive 25G environments.
Compliant with SFP28 MSA, SFF-8402, and IEEE 802.3by, the EDSP2X-1 operates as a fully passive cable with no active components — delivering inherently lower latency and higher reliability than active optic alternatives at this distance. It supports data rates up to 25.78125Gbps with excellent EMI performance and operates across a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.
