The SYNOXX ESP852X-01D is a 25G SFP28 SR optical transceiver engineered for 25.78Gbps transmission over multimode fiber — delivering up to 100m on OM4, 70m on OM3, and 20m on OM2. Using an 850nm VCSEL laser transmitter and PIN photodiode receiver, it supports high-density 25G Ethernet switching, 5G CPRI fronthaul between baseband units (BBU) and remote radio heads (RRH), and 100G breakout target applications when paired with a QSFP28-to-4×SFP28 breakout cable — making it the 25G multimode fiber module for the widest range of modern data centre, enterprise, and wireless infrastructure deployments.
Compliant with IEEE 802.3cc and SFF-8402 standards, the ESP852X-01D features full Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) via SFF-8472 for real-time visibility into temperature, voltage, TX/RX optical power, and bias current. Its hot-pluggable SFP28 form factor with LC duplex connector delivers broad cross-vendor compatibility across all SFP28-equipped 25G switches, routers, and servers, with low power consumption and an operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C.
