The SYNOXX 16FMTPOM4-10M is a 16-fibre OM4 multimode MPO-to-MPO Type B plenum trunk cable delivering 10 meters of structured cabling infrastructure for parallel optic systems requiring 100G and 400G throughput. With 16 fibers in a single MPO trunk, the 16FMTPOM4-10M simultaneously supports two independent 100G SR8 transceiver links, one 400G SR8 link, or two 100G CWDM8 wavelengths — fiber capacities that 8-fibre and 12-fibre MPO trunks cannot provide. The OFNP plenum-rated jacket meets fire safety code requirements for installation in air-handling spaces, raised floors, and cable trays above drop ceilings, covering the majority of structured cabling installation environments in Canadian commercial buildings.

Type B (crossover) polarity reverses the fiber positions at each connector end, enabling direct MPO-to-MPO trunk connections between matched Type B patch panels without additional polarity correction modules. Built to ≤0.35dB insertion loss at 850nm and 1300nm wavelengths with OM4 50/125µm multimode glass, the 16FMTPOM4-10M delivers the low-loss signal path required by parallel optic transceivers including SYNOXX EQP85Y-01D 100G QSFP28 SR4, SYNOXX EDQD400 400G QSFP-DD series, and all IEEE 802.3 parallel optic standards. MPO female connectors on both ends are compatible with standard MPO patch panels, MPO cassettes, and parallel optic breakout modules.
