The SYNOXX EQP85Y-01D is a 100G QSFP28 SR4 optical transceiver delivering 100Gbps
over multimode fiber using a 4×25G parallel VCSEL array — transmitting and receiving
across four simultaneous 25G optical lanes via an 8-fiber MPO ribbon connector,
supporting distances up to 100m on OM3 and OM4 multimode fiber for high-density
100G data centre switching, 100G parallel breakout deployments, and any 100G
application requiring MPO-based multimode fiber infrastructure. Compliant with
QSFP28 MSA and IEEE 802.3bm, featuring integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring
(DDM) for real-time temperature, voltage, TX/RX optical power, and bias current
monitoring with low power consumption. Hot-pluggable, RoHS compliant, and IC

The SYNOXX EQP85Y-01D is a 100G QSFP28 SR4 optical transceiver engineered for 100Gbps transmission over multimode fiber using a 4×25G parallel VCSEL array. Unlike single-channel 100G transceivers, the SR4 operates across four simultaneous 25G optical lanes transmitted and received through an 8-fiber MPO ribbon connector (4 TX fibres + 4 RX fibres) — enabling 100G throughput over OM3 multimode fiber up to 100m and OM4 multimode fiber up to 100m. This makes the EQP85Y-01D the standard 100G transceiver for data centre spine-to-leaf switching environments where OM3 or OM4 ribbon fiber infrastructure is already deployed, offering lower latency than DAC cables at distances beyond 3 metres.
Compliant with QSFP28 MSA and IEEE 802.3bm standards, the EQP85Y-01D features integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time visibility into temperature, voltage, TX/RX optical power, and bias current across all four lanes. Its hot-pluggable QSFP28 form factor, low power consumption, and MPO interface deliver broad compatibility across all QSFP28 SR4-capable 100G switching and routing platforms.
