The MikroTik hAP ac is a dual-band dual-concurrent desktop router — 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi 5 AC1750 running simultaneously, 5× GbE, SFP, USB, and passive PoE-out on a single RouterOS v7 platform for home, office, or public location deployments.
**Dual-concurrent AC1750 — 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 + 5 GHz Wi-Fi 5 simultaneously**
2.4 GHz QCA9558 delivers 3×3 MIMO 450 Mbps with 2.5 dBi omnidirectional antennas — backward compatible with 802.11b/g/n legacy clients. 5 GHz QCA9880 delivers 3×3 MIMO 1300 Mbps 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) with 2 dBi antennas — AC1750 aggregate. Both radios operate concurrently. International version (RB962UiGS-5HacT2HnT) supports 2412–2484 MHz and 5150–5875 MHz — full frequency range for Canadian deployment.
**1× SFP + 1× USB — fiber uplink and 3G/4G failover**
SFP cage accepts active or passive optical modules for fiber uplink to ISP or core switch. USB Type-A port (1A) supports 3G/4G modems for WAN failover and USB storage for data logging or RouterOS backup. USB Power Reset allows software-controlled modem reboot from RouterOS without physical access.
**Passive PoE-out on Ether5 — power downstream RouterBOARD devices**
Ether5 delivers passive PoE-out (700 mA low voltage / 350 mA high voltage) — powers MikroTik wAP, mAP, or SXT units at the last port without a separate PoE injector.
