The MikroTik LAMP 5G R16 is an outdoor 5G CPE built for locations without a clear line to a single tower. Instead of locking onto one direction, its omnidirectional antenna system connects to the best available network around it, maintaining reliable service as conditions change — if a tower goes offline or a stronger signal appears, LAMP adapts without requiring antenna realignment. This makes it well suited to urban deployments, backup connectivity, ports, industrial sites, and other demanding environments.

eSIM and flexible connectivity

LAMP 5G R16 features a built-in eSIM, so operators can activate data plans remotely and bring new installations online in minutes — no physical SIM handling required. It is fully compatible with MikroTik Connectivity, a pre-activated data service for getting connected quickly across single devices or large fleets. The device also supports third-party eSIM providers and multiple eSIM profiles, letting you store different operator plans on one device and switch between them for backup connections, roaming, or multi-operator networks. A microSIM slot is also available.

Built for the outdoors and the sea

With an IP67-rated enclosure, EN 60945 maritime certification, and an included stainless-steel mounting bracket, LAMP 5G R16 handles rain, dust, heat, cold, and salty sea air. It is designed to meet the environmental and electromagnetic requirements of marine communication environments, making it suitable for ports, marinas, coastal infrastructure, and vessels.

Built-in GNSS provides access to GPS, Glonass, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS satellite systems for accurate positioning — useful for fleet management, asset tracking, and remote infrastructure.*

Connectivity and power

A single Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE-in (802.3af/at) handles both data and power over one cable. The device runs RouterOS v7 (license level 3) on a dual-core ARM 64-bit CPU.
