The MikroTik hAP be³ Media is a feature-rich, next-generation Wi-Fi 7 router engineered as a professional all-in-one platform for routing, services, containers, and modern networking. It is purpose-built for power users, home lab enthusiasts, and small office environments that require cutting-edge wireless performance combined with the full flexibility of RouterOS v7.
Wi-Fi 7 Tri-Band Performance
At the heart of the hAP be³ Media is a true tri-band Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) radio system covering 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz simultaneously, each with 2×2 MIMO. The 2.4 GHz band delivers up to 574 Mbit/s, the 5 GHz band reaches up to 1,200 Mbit/s with 7.5 dBi antenna gain, and the 6 GHz band tops out at an impressive 5,764 Mbit/s — making this one of the most capable consumer-grade Wi-Fi 7 routers in MikroTik's lineup. Wi-Fi 7 Multi-Link Operation (MLO) is supported in TR-MLMR AP mode, enabling devices to bond multiple bands simultaneously for lower latency and higher throughput. All three radios run on dedicated Qualcomm chipsets (IPQ-5322 for 2.4 GHz, QCM-8083 for 5 GHz, and QXM-8086 for 6 GHz).
2.5 Gigabit Ethernet on Every Port
The hAP be³ Media is equipped with five 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports (managed via a QCA8386 switch chip), eliminating wired bottlenecks entirely. Whether connecting to a multi-gig ISP uplink, a NAS server, or high-performance workstations, every port delivers the bandwidth needed for modern network demands.
Powerful Processing for Container Workloads
Under the hood, the device is powered by a Qualcomm IPQ-5322 quad-core ARM 64-bit processor running at up to 1.5 GHz, backed by 2 GB of RAM and 512 MB of NAND flash storage. This combination provides ample headroom for running RouterOS v7 alongside containers — whether that means self-hosted password managers, local document servers, home automation hubs, or other services. A simple one-click container setup process makes deployment accessible even for those new to containerisation.
Modern Media & Connectivity Hub
With a USB-C port, two USB-A 3.0 ports (up to 1.5A), and a microSD card slot, the hAP be³ Media doubles as a local media centre and personal cloud platform. Paired with the full power of RouterOS v7, it enables users to run private, self-hosted services entirely on their local network.
Smart Home & IoT Ready
The hAP be³ Media includes Bluetooth 5.4 and a dedicated Thread radio, providing a solid foundation for modern IoT and smart home ecosystems. Full container support allows users to deploy Thread IoT automation solutions directly on the device, making it an ideal hub for Matter-compatible smart home setups.
Flexible Powering
The device supports both a DC jack (24–57V) and 802.3af/at PoE-in, offering flexibility in how and where it is deployed. Maximum power consumption is 29W under full load (20W without attachments), and the unit uses fully passive cooling for silent operation across a tested ambient temperature range of -30°C to 50°C. An MTBF of approximately 200,000 hours at 25°C reflects its reliability for always-on deployments.
No Subscriptions. Ever.
As with all MikroTik products, the hAP be³ Media ships with RouterOS v7 pre-installed and fully licensed — no separate purchase, no subscription, and no paywalls. The complete feature set is available from day one.
