The NetBox 5 ax is a cutting-edge outdoor wireless device featuring Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology, designed to serve as an Access Point (AP), Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), or a Point-to-Point link. With its powerful dual-chain 5 GHz radio, this device supports advanced connectivity needs for diverse environments. The RP-SMA connectors allow for seamless antenna customization, whether you're setting up an omnidirectional AP with the HGO-antenna-OUT or deploying a long-range point-to-point link using the mANT30 PA antenna for distances up to 30 kilometers.
Housed in a durable, weatherproof enclosure, the NetBox 5 ax is built to withstand challenging outdoor conditions. It's powered by a Qualcomm Maple dual-core ARM CPU, backed by 256 MB RAM, and equipped with a USB port for additional storage or peripherals. Its Gigabit Ethernet port supports PoE-in, making installation simple and flexible.
This device is designed with system administrators in mind, featuring a case that’s easy to open with one hand, concealed Ethernet exits, and convenient mounting options, including a loop for poles or towers and a DIN rail mount. Plus, it retains the classic MikroTik beeper for alarms or creative notifications.
