The wAP ax is a versatile Wi-Fi 6 access point built for demanding environments. Its compact, weatherproof form factor has been rigorously tested globally, offering simplicity, durability, and advanced performance. Equipped with dual-band, dual-chain (2x2 MIMO) radios, it provides up to 90% faster speeds in the 2.4 GHz band and up to 40% faster speeds in the 5 GHz band compared to previous standards.
Security features include OWE/WPA3-PSK/WPA3-EAP encryption and management frame protection to defend against brute-forcing and de-authentication attacks. Seamless roaming ensures devices automatically connect to the strongest signal in larger deployments.
With a dual-core ARM CPU and RouterOS v7, the wAP ax supports stable connectivity and robust VPN performance. It also features two Gigabit Ethernet ports (PoE-in on one) for flexible powering and a vandal-proof design for secure installations.
