TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE FOR TRAINING

1. General Information:

  • Training duration must be a minimum of three days.
  • Every student attending the training will receive a free L4 license from MikroTik.
  • Students are eligible to take the certification test ONLY upon attending an individual training course, supervised by a MikroTik Certified Training Partner.
  • MikroTik Certification Test without prior attendance of a specific MikroTik Training Session is prohibited.
  • Remote training sessions and certification exams are not allowed.

2. Certification Test Details:

  • The certification test comprises a pre-defined % of random questions, which can be multiple-choice or true/false, drawn from specific categories. Each item also has a difficulty parameter.
  • MTCNA tests feature simpler questions, while Advanced tests contain more challenging ones.
  • The test allows only one attempt, must be completed within an hour, and the passing grade is 60%. There are 25 questions in total.
  • Certificates will be valid for three years.

3. Certificate and Licensing:

  • MikroTik automatically assigns Certificate numbers and RouterOS L4 licenses.
  • Students can access their certificates and generate license keys through their account server.
  • Physical documents from MikroTik cost USD 30 each, excluding shipping.

4. Training Perks and Requirements:

  • Wireless Netware provides every participant with a free RouterBOARD hAP-ac-lite.
  • Attendees should bring a laptop, power extension strip (10ft./3m) with five sockets, a long Ethernet cable (16ft./5m+), and several short Ethernet cables.

5. Cost and Payment:

  • The early bird price for the course is $850, valid up to 15 days before the session (as per the MikroTik Training website). Post early bird date, the fee becomes $1050.
  • Included in the price are class attendance, course materials, coffee breaks, and lunch (only for local training). Travel and accommodation expenses are excluded.
  • Seating is capped at four students, with reservations secured upon full payment receipt.

6. Consultant Opportunities:

  • Those with MTCNA (score 75%+) and at least one MikroTik Engineer level certificate (e.g., MTCRE, MTCWE) scoring 75%+ can apply to become consultants. Email your mikrotik.com account name and expertise fields. Active participation in MikroTik Forum and country-specific M.U.M. events is required, including conducting RouterOS case studies or workshops.

7. Agreement & Changes:

  • Purchasing any training course indicates agreement with these terms. If you disagree, please refrain from using the site or service.
  • WNT reserves the right to modify these terms, effective upon posting. Continued use after modifications indicates acceptance.
  • Training courses might have specific notices or policies ("Additional Terms"), which form part of this agreement. In cases of conflict, the Additional Terms for specific parts take precedence.
  • 8. New Registered Users:

    • Upon registration, users are required to provide valid identification, preferably matching the name on the credit card used for purchasing products. This measure ensures the security and protection of both our business and our esteemed customers.
    • All user information will be stored securely, in line with privacy laws and regulations. Unauthorized access, disclosure, or use of this data is strictly prohibited.
    • New users may receive updates, newsletters, or promotional offers from us, unless they opt out.
    • Registered users are entitled to specific benefits, offers, and discounts exclusive to our platform. More information will be provided upon successful registration.
    • Any misuse or suspicious activity on a registered account may lead to temporary suspension or permanent termination, subject to investigation.
  • 9. Account Inactivity Policy:

    • Newly Registered Accounts:
      In the interest of user security and data protection, any newly registered account that remains inactive for a consecutive three-month period will be subject to automatic account suspension. This policy is enacted to uphold the security and data integrity of our platform.
    • Accounts with Purchase History:
      For accounts with a history of transactions, any period of continuous inactivity lasting six months will result in automatic account suspension. This preventative measure is implemented to mitigate potential security vulnerabilities associated with dormant accounts that could be susceptible to user neglect or compromise.
    • Reactivation:
      Should your account become disabled due to inactivity, you have the option to request reactivation. To initiate the reactivation process, kindly submit an email to support@wirelessnetware.ca, including your account details. Our dedicated support team will guide you through the reactivation procedure, ensuring the preservation of your account's integrity.

    • Your usage of the Site or Service is governed by *WNT's Privacy Policy, which can be found at http://www.wirelessnetware/privacy-policy. We encourage users to review this policy.
    • By using our Site and Service or agreeing to these terms, you provide consent to *WNT's data collection practices as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

    2. Electronic Communications:

    • Interacting with *WNT through the Site or via email is considered an electronic communication. Users consent to receive electronic notifications from us.
    • Electronic communications from *WNT, whether on the Site or through email, fulfill legal written communication requirements.
    • Please note: *WNT does not intentionally collect information from individuals under thirteen years of age. Users below 18 must have parental or guardian consent to use our Site.

    3. Third-Party Sites and Services:

    • The Site may feature links to other websites, referred to as "Linked Sites". These are not controlled by *WNT, and our company is not responsible for their content or any changes made to them.
    • For clarity, while *WNT is a certified training partner for Mikrotik, it operates independently and is not affiliated with Mikrotik.
    • Using any product, Service, or functionality from our Site implies consent to share user information with third parties, as per our agreements to fulfill specific services or functionalities.

    4. Training Class Enrollment and Payment:

    • Public training classes are available for purchase on the Site. Full payment is required at the time of registration, processed through PayPal. While a PayPal account is not mandatory, all payment methods supported by PayPal, including major credit cards, are accepted. All charges are in CAD Dollars. *WNT is not responsible for any currency conversion rate fluctuations.
    • Upon successful registration and payment, you'll receive confirmation from *WNT and an enrollment link from the Mikrotik training portal. Adherence to the instructions in the enrollment email is crucial before attending classes in person.
    • Alternatively, depending on space availability, users can request an invoice for public training class registration. Accepted payment methods include Personal or Company Checks, Credit Cards, and PayPal. If not specified otherwise, payments should be made within two business days; otherwise, the reserved seat may be cancelled.

Confidentiality:

  • Protection of Client Information: All information provided by the Client is recognized by *WNT as confidential and proprietary. Such information will be disclosed to employees only on a need-to-know basis.
  • Privacy Policy: *WNT’s use of CLIENT information is in accordance with the *WNT Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy Link.
  • Marketing Use: *WNT may use CLIENT's name, logo, and the services provided by *WNT in its promotional material, presentations, and Client Success Stories. This also includes informing potential clients about the relationship between the CLIENT and *WNT.

Substitutions:

  • Substitutions for students are allowed prior to class commencement. Changes should be submitted in writing to hr@wirelessnetware.ca before the course start date.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • Cancellation: Cancellations up to 10 days before class start are eligible for a refund minus a $100 administrative fee. Cancellations within ten days will be charged in full.
  • Notification: Cancellation requests must be emailed to support@wirelessnetware.ca.
  • *Course Cancellation by WNT: *WNT can cancel a course for any reason more than 14 days before its start. Only the registration fee will be liable.

Usage Policy:

  • Users have a non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site and Service in accordance with the ..T.O.C. Unlawful, harmful, or prohibited use is not allowed. You must not exploit the Site or Service in any manner that impairs its functionality or infringes upon others' rights.

Intellectual Property:

  • All content on the Site and Service, including text, graphics, logos, images, and training materials, is *WNT’s property or that of its suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, modification, or resale of this content is prohibited.

International Users:

  • The Site and Service are operated by *WNT from within Canada. If accessed from outside Canada, users must comply with local laws and ensure they do not use the content or service in violation of any regulations.

Indemnification:

  • Users agree to protect, defend, and compensate *WNT, its affiliates, and third parties against losses or damages resulting from misuse of the Site, violation of terms, or infringement of any laws or third-party rights.

Liability Disclaimer:

  • The Site and Service may have inaccuracies or errors, and changes are made periodically. *WNT and its suppliers disclaim warranties about the content's suitability, reliability, timeliness, or accuracy. Neither *WNT nor its suppliers will be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Site and Service.

Termination/Access Restriction:

  • *WNT has the authority to terminate your access to the Site and Service at its discretion without notice.
  • Jurisdiction: This agreement is governed by Ontario laws. All disputes related to the use of the Site and Service will be settled in Toronto, Ontario courts.
  • No business relationships (joint venture, partnership, etc.) arise from this agreement.
  • If a part of this agreement is deemed invalid, the rest of the agreement remains in effect.
  • Printed versions of electronic ...T.O.C. are valid in judicial or administrative proceedings.

Changes to Terms:

  • *WNT can change the Terms for the Site and Service at its discretion.
  • It's recommended to periodically check ...T.O.C. for updates.

...R.M.A. and Return Policy

R.M.A.:

  • Warranty: Wireless Netware Technology offers a 12-month warranty from the shipping date on all RouterBOARD series equipment, excluding damages from misuse or natural disasters.
  • Warranty Guidelines:
    1. This applies if you purchased equipment directly from WNT LTD.
    2. WNT* LTD. offers repairs for specific non-warranty products.
    3. For all devices sent for warranty, RMA, or repair, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
    4. Provide the Invoice number or information about the preinstalled system for support.
    5. Give a brief problem description and your network setup details.
    6. For issues, execute /system sup-output the command and attach the resulting support.rif file to your email.
  • Non-Warranty Returns: Only unused/unopened items can be returned within seven days of receipt. A minimum 15% restocking fee is applicable unless it's our shipment error.

Repairs and Charges:

  • Wireless Netware Technology handles MikroTik warranty returns.
  • If a non-defective device is returned for repair, a $50 technical support fee per device is charged.
  • HR Wireless Netware Technology LTD doesn't process refunds or adjustments for orders from the previous calendar year.

International Shipments:

  • The receiver must handle import duties, taxes, and other charges in the destination country.
  • HR Wireless Netware isn't responsible for any custom-related charges.

Returns to WNT LTD.

General Return Policy:

  • Returns are processed as exchanges or store credits for future purchases.
  • All returns must have a valid ...R.M.A. number.
  • To request an ...R.M.A. number, send an email to support@wirelessnetware.ca and include a copy of your invoice, device serial number, and a brief description of why the device is defective and which part of the device is not functioning properly.
  • Our ...R.M.A. team will respond within two business days after receiving the request.
  • All products for exchange or store credit must be returned within 7 days of the invoice date.
  • Report defective products received as ...D.O.A. within seven days.
  • Report shipping errors within seven days.
  • Products from Clearance Sale, Overstock, Open Box, Special Order (...S.P.O.), custom-assembled products, or non-stocked items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • For order shipments that arrived damaged, complete a "Damage Parcel Report" with ...U.P.S., USPS, or DHL.
  • All returns must be shipped pre-paid. C.O.D. returns are not accepted.
  • Returns for store credit must be in original packaging, new, and unused. Opened or incomplete returns will face a 25% restocking fee.
  • Use a separate shipping box for returns. Returns in a product box will be rejected.
  • Products must match the ...R.M.A. form; discrepancies will result in return rejection.

Shipping Information:

  • For warranty repairs, WNT LTD. covers standard Canada-Post return shipping. Other shipping costs and duties are the customer's responsibility.
  • For non-warranty returns, customers cover all shipping costs.

MIKROTIK RMA PROCESS:

  • All MikroTik RouterBOARD returns must undergo a "net-install" by the customer before returning.
  • A $50 technical support fee is applied if "net-install" resolves the ...R.M.A.
  • Most issues are resolvable with the reinstallation process.
